WHAT TO EXPECT

You may be wondering what a typical CU Summer Getaway day looks like at CAMP-of-the-WOODS. Here's an overview.
MORNINGS
Begin your day with a hearty buffet-style breakfast. If you are an early riser, early hikes and canoe trips are available. After breakfast, make your way to a chapel service in the beautiful Tibbitts Auditorium that features world-class speakers and worship led by extraordinarily talented musicians.
Children (toddlers through 6th grade) will meet kids their own age as qualified teachers lead them through a solid biblical curriculum in "Kid's Klub." Middle school and high school teens gather for Bible teaching, games, worship, and small groups.
During the week, Christian Union will offer several special sessions (approximately
one hour in length), plus several outings scheduled just for its guests.
AFTERNOONS
After a great CAMP-of-the-WOODS lunch, you are free to choose from the camp's wide range of activities. These activities include: hikes; canoe trips; tennis; shuffleboard; rock-climbing; water sports; mini-golf; sand volleyball; arts and crafts; games and competitions in the massive Sonju Sports Complex; and more.
EVENINGS
The evening program begins after dinner and varies. On Sunday and Wednesday nights there are evening services in the Tibbitts Auditorium. Other popular evening activities include a carnival and parade.
CAMP-of-the-WOODS combines incredible spiritual nourishment with abundant opportunities to connect with family, play hard, or just unwind. The best part: your week at CAMP-of-the-WOODS can be as busy or laid back as you'd like.
